Pepa Quin's Daylight "Special"

It's a "stylized" version of one of the most iconic American steam locomotives.

  2. I never should have used that word.

if you really want an idea of how awkward this train is, check out the video in his stream. The pivots on the car trucks are WAY too far from the car ends.

Still, it is his first attempt, so I'll give him at least one more chance.

  5. Don't feel too bad, psiaki, the word did not become "mock-worthy" because of you... it was tainted a while ago.

  6. Um... thanks for the nod, but this is not finished. I merely got it working in time for a show - I said as much in the description.

  7. Matt,
I've asked elsewhere and you haven't responded. Could you explain your thoughts on this MOC? While I sense the level of sarcasm in this post, I think you owe it to your readers and to the creator to explain why you felt this was blog-worthy. Where does it err? Where does it succeed? I truly don't get what you are trying to say and would like clarification.

    Thank you.

  9. The cab completely ruins everything for me. The boiler and running boards are really, really great and the cab just sticks out ruining all of the good stuff you had so far. Yeah, you were rushed to finish this for a train show (I have been there), but if the MOC is not done, it is not done. You could wait until the next train show (you guys do quite a few) to reveal it rather than posting a WIP.
