Brickshelf user jdarlack built this meal that is apparently, he would say, "fit.for.a.king". While the use of different shades of brown to imitate wood grain is nothing new, it is a pretty technique nonetheless and worth being liberally used. The sunken pig is also a nice touch, but could use an apple in its mouth for the sake of deliberately being clichéd.
