Well! The Lego Train Mocs Flickr Group Electric Engines Contest is off to quite an auspicious start! Wojciech Scrat's lil Polish engine is probably the cutest train we've seen since Lukas's Darjeeling Himalayan Toy Train! (An aside: how did we miss blogging that? Fired. Just, everyone is fired.) There's not much space on the engine for cool techniques it's true, but cut flextube and rubber pneumatic tube are used to great effect here. Just look at those pantographs!
Basically if we were judging, contest over. Luckily for everyone the actual judges have a little more sense in their heads, and are running the contest until the end of the month. We're looking forward to seeing all the entries (including our Matty's) and our advice for everyone entering is: the weirder, the better!
