  4. At least this scene has a bit of action in it, but over all it's indicative of a tendency to equate sorting with presentation. It smacks of a desperate attempt to impose some order on a tiny corner of the world. It says to me "My OCD is more obsessive and more compulsive than yours and I have no idea what the 'D' is for."

    The whole thing about serried ranks of soldiers was that it was indicative of their level of discipline and was an imposition of order upon a somewhat chaotic world. but the world of LEGO is far from chaotic. In fact the grid encourages just such ranking such that it is almost the easiest damn thing to do, requiring minimal imagination.
