All the Mirrors of the World
This puzzling structure by brickshelf user Polegon is no less interesting when you learn that it's designed for marbles; the recursive, Escher-like structure has a mysterious charm all its own. Could it be a relic of a vanished civilization, now populated merely by dreams and ghosts? Or is this one of the labyrinths of pagan myth, constructed with religious fervor to hide away an ancient evil? What kind of landscape is it set in, a shadowy moorland, marked by eerie silence and stillness? Or is it surrounded by cracked, wind-blasted bare earth? Rumination brings no answers, only questions.
