drawing penises on bathroom walls
We here at twee affect are taking an introductory logic class at our community college and feel that we are now well versed enough talk about a certain topic in logic: "fallacies", specifically one called "composition". We here at twee affect like Star Wars. We also, obviously, like trains. Would it not be great if two of our favorite things were combined to make something even better?
Fredoichi's Tiinusu Ground Types
Fredoichi built these neet mini mecha, readers. We really like the ones on the ends. Fredoichi's presentation is also nice. We shall doubt his skills as a photographer and claim that it seems as if he just rendered them well. Either way, good job, Fredoichi!
Buffer Solutions
Carl Greatrix (aka bricktrix) built this adorable bulk grain wagon, and we just love it. His attention to details really sets him apart from other builders. Keep at it, Carl!!!
Let's Talk about Airplanes
Aren't airplanes great? Have you ever really thought, about how incredible flying is? Sure birds do it, but can they do so while sit in a chair, reading the latest Jonathan Franzen, 35,000 feet in the air? A few weeks ago your dear author had a pretty baller dream where we all had neat airplanes and we flew around and it was epic.
They were like these planes by Jon Hall. Jon, have you been in our dreams, Ramona Flowers-style? (Hey Tyler Clites built a cool one too, check it out!)
And speaking of dreams and people named Jon, the dreamy Jon Palmer, fresh from Brickcon, has been working on some adorable microscale floating rock cottages. We can only assume that he lamented the complete lack of floating rocks at BC10, and immediately set to work!
Wicked cool! NPU headlight brick edition!
Brickcon Roundup Part 2!
So! By now pretty much all the brickcon pictures are online, so we will finish the job Kevoh started, and forgot about thirty seconds later, like a crocodile. Here we go!
This underwater dio was the star of the show it looks like. Pretty much our first thought was "someone finally figured out what to do with those tan technic bricks from PaB a couple years back", because we still have a bunch of them we can't think of a use for. The motorized whirlpool is a great gimmick, and it was a smart move to integrate it into the pirate display rather than be relegated to the "miscellaneous" table, where people would say "i dont get it" and keep moving. Hope no toddlers ducked under the ropes and slobbered all over it!
Ley's tower is really unorthodox and interesting, but we think we need it explained to us. Space elevator? Evil corporate hq?Lunar grain silos? The lil spy vs spy guys on the side are keeping their secrets here.
The instant dkblue becomes available enough to do a big project in, we get two capships at the same con. Like two girls showing up to homecoming in the same dress! Well, they're both big, so you both win guys.
This was the biggest (read:best) castle, but only because they cheated and used wall panels! We like the almost-surrealist asymmetrical stacked towers design, and the ridiculously different scales between the curtain wall and the keep, but nothing can justify using juniorized POOP parts, ever. Everything needs to be made of bricks or snot techniques, the end.

Fuck Yeah Lego Zeldas
Holy fuck! This is so chill we can forgive the stickers! Man dawg wasnt this the chillest game like, ever. We should dust off the ol' gamecube and replay it.
Public days, just, swig from a flask. End up face down in a bin of LEGOs.
Does a cat die in a box if no one is there to see? Is Brickcon awesome without twee affect there? Yes, BC10 is without our wisdom, beauty, and guile. Is it even be the same, without us? Who will people fear? We have always had such good times at conventions, could it be that the key ingredient was in fact ourselves?
Well, it is occurring, right now. As I write this public hours are likely just beginning across the coast. Is Dan Rubin hung over? Did Adrian Drake actually manage to drag his wife along? How many Mai Tais has Dan Brown had today so far? Has Steve Witt shot anyone in the face with a nerf gun, for asking too many stupid questions about why aren't there any LEGO stores in Nowhere, Idaho?
Check out the inner workings of Tyler Clite's latest spaceship. And there's teen heartthrob Derek Schin!
Innovative tree-stump presentation technique! Nice Part Use!
We haven't spotted any pics of moonbase. Is it well and truly dead, or has it moved underwater?
I EXPECT A REAL RESPONSE!
